Dates and Times:
Friday, April 24th 4-7PM
Saturday, April 25th 7AM - 4PM
Sunday, April 26th 7AM - 4PM
A couple of hours, a half day, the whole day. Any amount of time will be appreciated.
Anyone who wishes to participate should show up at Point Road School on the dates and times above and join the activites as we construct the Point Road School Courtyard/ Outdoor Classroom.
Help is needed for physical and non-physical work. If you can bring work gloves, wheel barrows, shovels and rakes, we would greatly appreciate it.
Our Goal is to install all the base material for the paver walks and terraces, get all the pavers inside the courtyard area, install as many pavers as possible in the allotted time, and install the pond.
There is plenty or work for everyone and this is just the beginning of an incredible outdoor space.
Of course we want everyone to have fun and be safe, so remember to wear proper work clothes and shoes. For your safety, NO open toe shoes or crocs will be allowed.
The great news is that it's supposed to be sunny and warm, so remember the sun screen and drink plenty of fluids.
Refreshments and food will be served for participants.
The students were so excited today to see how much was accomplished late yesterday and now cannot wait to see what things will look like on Monday! We are hoping that many families will be able to help us over the weekend!
