Parents tirelessly shoveled their way through gravel, dirt, roots and more. Not only did evereyone dig out the paths, they brought in all the sub base material for the walks as well.

The giant checker board is complete with the pavers between the amphitheater seats also completed.
The Pond was started with boulder edges laid along the perimeter. Tomorrow the upper pond will be constructed and we will begin to fill the pond with water.
Setting the base course for the Main Terrace gave us quite a fight with a mesh of tree roots from existing and past trees. The volunteers who slugged it out in that area deserve a special thanks for persistance and incredible stamina.
The soil from the Main Terrace was enough to backfill the outer amphitheater seat wall and surrounding planting area.
